It will literally be on for young and old when the state's top athletes converge on Alexandra Headland for the 2020 Queensland Youth, Open, and Masters Surf Life Saving Championships.
The pinnacle sporting events on SLSQ's calendar will see almost 4,000 competitors from under 11 through to over 80 put their fitness, skill, and determination to the ultimate test.
The Queensland State Junior Surfing Titles is the exclusive qualification pathway for the State's elite junior competitors aiming for selection in Queensland's State Junior Surfing Team, set to compete at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles.
The series is a key stepping stone in Surfing Queensland's development pathway, with the likes of Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Bede Durbidge just a few of the high profile athletes who have previously competed in the junior State surfing series.
