Open from 10am to 4 pm, this will be a very special event with the involvement of Vintage Calendar Girls who will run a fashion show at 11.30 am and the girls will be on hand selling their glamorous 2018 Calendar (proceeds from calendar sales go towards supporting Sunshine Coast cancer sufferers and their families).
The usual attractions will be there; WW2 Jeep rides, free Jumping Castle, Engines will run at 11am & 1pm, and there are a couple of newly re-furbished engines running this time around.
The F-111 cockpit will be open and we will have some experienced aviators on hand to explain just how these magnificent machines operate and provide background information about many of QAMs exhibits.
There will be a range of food and drink options available, Girl Friday Jazz & Blues Band will be playing.
So, enough sun and surf, come along on January 13 and support Queensland Air Museum in its many projects to 'Preserve Australia's Aviation Heritage'.
