Now in its tenth year, the Sunshine Coast Art Prize has achieved national acclaim for its annual representation of contemporary Australian art and offers opportunities within painting, new media (including animation, videography, street art and more), photography, public art, environmental art, sculpture and more.

Community Programs Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said the Sunshine Coast Art Prize Anniversary, presented by Sunshine Coast Council, showcases the best local art alongside some of the nation's most exciting new contemporary visual artists.

"To celebrate the Anniversary I am pleased to announce this year's Art Prize will be in partnership with key regional visual art organisations and awards." Cr McKay said.
