Luminate! is a 3-night, free, walk through festival. It features unique light installations, music and markets. The festival for locals and tourists visiting the Sunshine Coast is designed to provide an immersive cultural experience.
Caloundra streetscapes and boardwalks will transform into aesthetic light delights. Felicity Park and the boardwalk along The Esplanade will be immersed in various light installations by Sunshine Coast Artists.

The biggest attraction on the Sunshine Coast will be operating for residents and visitors. The giant Skyline wheel on the Caloundra beachfront offers the chance to get a 35m-high bird's-eye view of our region. Jump on board one of the 24 gondolas. Don't miss riding Australia's tallest travelling, portable observation ferris wheel.
Venues will come alive with keen local talent ready to burst back onto stage in lieu of the Caloundra Music Festival this year. The festival will showcase local performers at venues including:

- Whispers Cocktail Bar and Lounge
- Coffee Cat
- Caloundra RSL
- Caloundra Power Boat Club
- The Events Centre
- Caloundra Twilight Markets
- The Strand.

For fans of Russell Morris AM there will be a special up close and personal performance at The Events Centre on the Friday evening. He will share his new album, Black and Blue Heart.
Luminate! is an outdoor, open space, moving event designed to enable and maintain social distancing. Patrons will circulate through installation zones at their leisure.
The COVID Safe Plan approved by Queensland Health, sets out a checklist of COVID safe priorities that will be met to comply with Industry Guidelines and/or legislation and ensure the safe operation of this event.
