The three-year deal that was inked towards the end of last year will see the Shaw and Partners logo appear on the front and back of the referee's uniform.
The wealth management firm are the first commercial sponsor of the QRRA, leading QRRA president Mike Willis to say:
"They are our first ever commercial sponsor, it's very important to engage with our partners and from their point of view, it's a great way to demonstrate commitment to the communities in which they do business. We see it as a valuable partnership for both sides," he said.
On top of Shaw and Partners' sponsorship, the QRRA has also signed two secondary sponsors with AllSports Physio and XRadiology agreeing to three-year partnerships.
XRadiology also work in partnership with the St.George Queensland Reds, providing quality scans and reports which assist the medical staff throughout the year.
Each week, the QRRA services 400 junior, school and senior matches that are played in areas between the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba.
"We've also got the job of making sure we bring through enough talent that Queensland and Australian Rugby can carry its weight at the highest level. We work closely with the QRU and the ARU with talent identification," Willis said.
As the governing body for Rugby Union Match Officials in the area, the QRRA has a proud history of match officials being appointed to International and Super Rugby fixtures.
Only last year was former Queensland Red QRRA official Nic Berry rewarded for his performances in 2016 with his first Test match appointment.
