The best of Melbourne will be on show as spring turns to summer and people raise funds by taking part in The Sunday Age City2Sea.
Over 12,000 entrants are set to tackle the 5km and 15km courses. The 5km course will see entrants take off from St Kilda Road, while the 15km course will have participants take off from Yarra Park in the shadows of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The event will this year continue to supplement the best atmosphere with the best on-course entertainment, headlined by Melbourne, award-winning DJ and dance music personality, John Course.
The Ministry of Sound showcase will be on hand to keep entrants moving from the start to the finish line, as well as showcase acts from Anyway Nightclub, Seven and the soon-to-be-opened Greenfields nightclubs. Further acts include: Reggae Cruise, Skeleton Crew, VWDJ, Phoenix King, City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band, Stilt Divas, Squawkestra, Deakin Cheer, Alphington Ukulele Group, Elwood School Band, The Funk Buddies and the City2Sea Battle of the Bands finalists.
