Turn Up Program Director, Eloise Gallagher said "Turn Up brings Sunshine Coast music people together to interact with, celebrate and be inspired by Australia's music industry experts. We have been building this event over several years and have developed a community of very approachable leaders who want to pass on their wealth of experience to the next generation, in an intimate and welcoming setting. In 2019, we brought Aussie legend: promoter, manager and record label chief Michael Chugg to the Coast. He distilled 57 years of music industry experience into his unmissable keynote speech which was captivating and humorous."

"The whole southern Queensland area has been a good nursery for young musicians and young industry people," Chugg says. Turn Up is held in an area that can always use an event like this – it's not in a capital city. It's a good thing and I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who are still finding out about it who will really enjoy it. I had a wonderful time at Turn Up. It was refreshing to be able to talk to and network with so many young and enthusiastic people about our music industry and I congratulate the organisers on a job well done."

Michael Chugg, Chugg Entertainment

"My experience dealing with and speaking at the Turn Up Conference was one I was both enthused and amazed by. To invite NEW and current players in the performance and technical side of the music industry to gain knowledge, interact and get advice from the incredibly well chosen speaking panel (apart from myself of course) was a stroke of genius. This event was informative, proactive, had great interaction, efficiently organised, nicely promoted, staffed by caring, knowledgeable helpful humans and nothing was amiss. BE A PART OF IT."
